1. I teach an introductory course in philosophy entirely based on the problem of free will.

2. Entering my last class this fall, "421" was wrtitten on the board. Turns out that was the number of times I had uttered the term "free will" in my class that semester!* Students had bothered to keep track!

3. Should I be impressed--or depressed??
